Stanley Marc Wright was born in Irvington, NJ in 1911. He studied at Pratt University graduating with highest honors. He also studied at the Farnsworth Art School and The Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation from which he received a fellowship grant. He was represented by the Grand Central Art Galleries and exhibited at all the major art associations in the NYC area. He served with distinction in the Second World War and received the Bronze Star. In 1949 he opened the Wright School of Art in Stowe, VT. He also taught at the Newark School of Fine Arts in New Jersey.
