Muriel Walcoff experimented with many artistic styles, working as she was, in the midst of the varied modernist movements that were sweeping the United States and the world in the early twentieth century. Here we see the powerful kinetic energy of the cubists.

Walcoff exhibited frequently in a number of venues including the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, and the 1939 New York World Fair
