Restoration: None performed by this gallery. The painting has been lined with linen at some time in the past. Blacklight examination shows some touch-up to paint, primarily at upper and lower perimeters. Total affected area less than 5%. Although undetected under blacklight, in raking light a surface anomaly shows what seems to be a repaired tear in the center.
In our opinion this is undetectable under most viewing conditions.
