Restoration: None performed by this gallery. The painting has been lined with linen at some time in the past. Blacklight examination shows some small areas of touch-up to paint, primarily in the sky and one small area in the upper left stone face. Total affected area approximately less than 3%.
Frame: A late twentieth century antique-gold toned moulded polymer frame with scalloped edges and openwork shell and foliate decoration at corners and axes.
