Restoration: Paper was backed with Mylar for support and then placed on a board with a temporary adhesive. Touch-ups were performed to three very small areas (less than 1% of painting).
Frame: A wide gilt gesso over wood frame with carved bar and bead outer decoration, a fluted shallow cove and an inner border of ribbon design inset with a wide flat gold liner.
